I was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and raised in Madison, Minnesota where my mom would cook lutefisk (fish) and lefse (tortilla made from potatoes). Madison is the lutefisk capital of the world.
I am a third-generation Norwegian. I have 4 children & 4 stepchildren, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
