Mattson partnered with Atkins to develop a line of frozen entrees for the initial “induction” phase of the Atkins diet. We created the product assortment, developed protocepts, found a co-packer, conducted in-home consumer research using Integrated Consumer Insights (ICI), and scaled production for commercialization. Atkins Frozen Meals were successfully launched in 2013, generating sales of over $74 million and receiving recognition as one of the top 10 new food/beverage products by IRI.
