Meet VP, Innovation Umaima Merchant

Some of our most valued team members began their relationship with Mattson as collaborators and partners. In fact, our Chairman and CEO, Justin Shimek, first worked with Mattson while at Del Monte.

We’re thrilled to welcome Umaima Merchant, who followed a similar path. After working with us for years as a client during her time at Premier Protein—a leader in the protein space—Umaima has now joined our team as VP of Innovation. She brings with her decades of experience in food and beverage strategy and innovation, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on board.
