Andersen & Sons, a tree nut producer, wanted to expand their product portfolio with value-added nut products in the plant-based meat and dairy alternatives markets. Mattson created a range of nut product concepts, tested them with consumers, and recommended a 5-year innovation pipeline. Mattson then developed a line of clean-label walnut crumbles with on-pack recipes and identified co-packer partners for scale-up. Andersen launched the products under their Glenda’s Farmhouse brand at Expo West 2022.
