As a long-term creative and R&D partner of Dole Fresh Vegetables, Mattson identified the chopped salad trend as a new product opportunity. They formulated the product line, tested each variety using their Integrated Consumer Insights (ICI) panels, and presented the concept to Dole for commercialization. The result was the successful launch of the Dole Chopped! product line, which became a permanent part of Dole’s portfolio.
