Nestlé aimed to extend Skinny Cow’s frozen novelty success into the candy aisle with a guilt-free, shelf-stable product. Mattson developed Skinny Cow Dreamy Clusters, chocolate-enrobed caramel and crispy pieces with moderate calories and fat, fortified with fiber to meet Weight Watchers point targets. The product was perfected using feedback from Integrated Consumer Insights (ICI) panels. Dreamy Clusters were launched in May 2011 and distributed in major retailers like Safeway, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens.
