Unreal Candy aimed to create clean-label candies that matched the taste of top-selling U.S. candies like Snickers, Milky Way, M&Ms, Peanut M&Ms, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Mattson formulated five candies with clean ingredients, improved nutrition, higher protein, and lower sugar. We also vetted ingredient suppliers and identified co-packers adhering to Unreal’s ethical and sustainability criteria. As a result, all five products were successfully commercialized for Unreal Candy.
